Soon Lee Medical Clinic is now able to offer COVID-19 PCR Swab Testing and COVID-19 ART Testing. Both the PDT COVID-19 Testing and the ART Testing are conducted by trained and experience clinic staff in the comfort and safety of our dedicated Isolation & Swabbing facility. Please note that PDT COVID-19 Testing is by appointment only. Appointments for PDT COVID-19 Tests will run from 0830hrs to 1600hrs from Monday to Friday and 0830hrs to 1230hrs on Saturday.

We are pleased to offer Pre-Departure Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Testing for COVID-19 to individuals who have obtained approval for overseas travel. Travelers seeking this service should take note of the following:

• Kindly set aside sufficient time to complete the test. Our clinic staff are unable to expedite appointments for testing or request for expedited test reporting. As a general rule, please set aside time for testing at least 48 hours prior to travel. However, Travelers seeking PDT COVID-19 should also ensure that their appointment falls WITHIN the time-frame set by their country of destination to avoid any rejection of test results.

• It is the responsibility of the Traveler to ensure that the PDT COVID-19 is conducted WITHIN the time-frame set by their country of destination while taking into consideration the time required for the test to be conducted and the laboratory to report the results. Results are generally available within 24 hours.

• Please bring along the following documents when seeking PDT COVID-19 testing:

  • Approval letter or email

  • Identity Card AND Passport

  • A copy of your Booking Reference clearly indicating your departure flight, departure date and departure timing

• Should the PDT COVID-19 Test result be reported as ‘INCONCLUSIVE’, travelers will be required to repeat the swab at their own cost.

• Should the PDT COVID-1 Test result be reported as ‘REJECTED’, the cost of a repeat test will be waived by the clinic.

• Please note that all PDT COVID-19 Tests operate on an appointment basis only. This is to ensure that samples are sent off to the laboratory for processing promptly and patients receive their results in time.
